There are many actions you can take to help Spread the Word about voter ID laws and VoteRiders!

• Make sure you and your friends, neighbors and family members check with your and their local, county or state elections board/registrar/clerk NOW to confirm the name and address on your and their IDs are the same as those listed in your and their voter registration records.
• Make sure you and your friends, neighbors and family members have the right ID.
  • Recent survey evidence showed that 99% of Pennsylvanians who voted in 2008 think that they have the right ID, and 12% of them are wrong, mostly because the ID they have is expired. NOW is the time to make sure your ID is valid and to renew if necessary.
• Take the VoteRiders Pledge to Take a Friend to the DMV (or wherever they get a voter ID in their state). Reach out to your friends and family who live in the 30 states that have a voter ID law to make sure they have a current and valid ID.
• Submit your compelling video or written story of a citizen’s efforts to get a voter ID.
• If you are a lawyer or law student, become a volunteer to help citizens apply for the documents they need to get a voter ID.
